Registration of design

Upon registration, a registration certificate will be issued, and the design will be published in the Norwegian Design Gazette. The registration certificate will be checked for errors before we forward it to our clients.

After publication in the Norwegian Design Gazette, any third-party can request a re-examination (administrative review) of the design. A re-examination can be filed during the entire lifetime of the design and can result in full or partial revocation of the design.

A Norwegian design registration is valid for 25 years as of the filing date if renewal fees are duly paid. We will keep track of the payment deadlines for you and notify you in due time (Duration & renewal).
