Supplementary search

According to the new Designs Act, the Norwegian Patent Office no longer examines design applications. Applications filed prior to May 1, 2003, are however examined.

You  may  also ask for a voluntary supplementary search when filing a new application. You will receive a search report from the Norwegian Patent Office, and a remark will be added to the Registration Certificate indicating that a supplementary search has been made.
